Tell us about your role and responsibilities at Donuts.

I’m excited to work with our registrar partners in North America. I’m hoping to help them grow with Donuts and answer any questions or concerns they might have.

How did you get into the domain name industry?

I started answering phones at a registrar after dropping out of law school. Since the registrar was small – I worked on all sorts of projects from product development to legal processes to marketing initiatives. I even built a few web pages – they were awful!

Where do you live and work?

I live in Denver and work from home.

What do you love about working for Donuts so far?

I love the innovation. It is great to be part of a team that is using data to rethink industry norms and provide an outstanding experience for our registrar partners.

What will be your biggest challenge, or shall we say, opportunity?

The opportunity and challenge are both in understanding each of our partner’s unique strengths and needs. I’m excited to work closely with our registrar partners to make sure there is a program in place that works well for them.

What is your favorite domain extension and why?

.BIKE! I’m a big fan of cycling for sport and for transport. .BIKE is a great example of a vertical TLD that is short and super applicable to the industry.

Do you have a favorite quote or mantra that motivates you? If so, will you share it with us?

If someone asks you to collect 100 sticks in the woods, you should bring back 110. It isn’t the most eloquent quote and I have no idea where my Dad got it, but it is a great way to approach almost anything.

If you could take a vacation tomorrow, where would you go and why?

Laos for sure. The weather is awesome this time of year and I’ve never been. I’d really like to do some backpacking there to explore the culture and legendary caves.
