We never stop seeking what is next. We challenge the status quo, solving for what’s to come—and imagining what’s possible for our business and our partners tomorrow.
Our Story
Let's get to know each other.
We’re Identity Digital.
When we started Donuts in 2010, there was only so much space up for grabs on the internet. But when ICANN (the organization that coordinates how domain names come to life) broadened the internet to include more generic top-level domains, we jumped at the chance to bring our registrar partners—and their customers—a way to elevate their digital identities. We wanted to expand and connect the online world.
Since then, we’ve worked with hundreds of top registrars to bring domain names and related technologies to people wanting to build, market, and own their online presence. This includes Name.com, our very own registrar that makes domain registration even simpler—from domain and email management to website hosting and building.
Now, we’ve acquired Afilias, one of the original global leaders in advanced registry services. With a legacy that reaches back to 2000, when .info was first registered, Afilias brings secure, reliable, and lightning-fast registrations (not to mention even more domains) to our collective offering.
Today, we’re Identity Digital. By combining Donuts’ breadth of offering with Afilias’ long-time industry expertise, every facet of our business works seamlessly to manage our domains and others’. Together, we get great domains into the hands of customers who are ready to build their authentic digital identity.
